The Lefty environmental actions seem less anti-rail overall, and more anti-"rebuild anything ever in the Eel Canyon". They seem to be looking for abandonment--without considering the implications of a formal declaration.

The Right whackos seem to think that rails are a socialist plot to get people out of cars. They want to hammer at HSR and need this to do so.
