LOLOL!!
But it is those stories that are the most interesting!
My idea is to have railroaders -- not just those who
operate these awesome steam locomotives -- but all
railroaders -- write down all their "just us chickens"
stories (the ones that would get folks in trouble if known
outside a very small group), and put those stories under
lock and key for -- say -- 50 years --then publish them.
It is that kind of stories that put a truly human face on
railroading, and they would give future readers and
researchers many valuable insights into what railroading
was really like in the 20th and early 21st centuries.
Especially what it was really like tooperate steam locomotives
in the space age.
