No solution - just a story

One of my very favorite memories regards a time I was riding the Blue Line on the Chicago El. A certifiable fluff-chick was yakking loudly on her cell phone. Pretty soon the train plunged into a tunnel, whereupon said fluff-chick's conversation was snuffed out. Her face showed disgust; mine and those of others in the car showed delight. I wonder - do all subway tunnels have that wonderful effect on cell phone signals?
