Thank you. I believe there are several photographers covering the SMARET project that do excellent work. I enjoy the coverage of the SMART coverage posted here very much.
I had the permission of the Stacy & Witbeck project manager, the RTC and the SC&MB to be onsite photographing the work. The Stacy & Witbeck project manager approved my idea to have a golden spike ceremony. I do not have any contact information for the SMART project to provide you. I suggest contacting the Stacy & Witbeck corporate office to direct you to the project manager for the SMART project.
Back in 2011 I covered the washout on the Santa Cruz Branch Rail Line in Aptos. At the completion of the work I provided the Sierra Northern track crew with a gold painted final spike to drive.
