Does anyone have a source explaining how intermodal trains are assembled, scheduled, run, etc?
I watch the UP running intermodal unit trains daily.
Is there any rhyme, reason, methodology somewhere as to how containers are loaded, scheduled and etc?
It's not first come, first served, is it?
