Happens all the time here, which is why a lot of forums require registration and have actively involved moderators so they can block the worst offenders and therefore don't have to deal with it as much (yes, I do know why that isn't the case here, so don't waste time lecturing to me about it).

I do find it rather amusing that some people seem to assume only a handful of nations engage in the same practices that the PRC does, or that the majority of the world's nations are even remotely like us in terms of their laws, customs, etc., or that they even know what the rest of the world is truly like despite having never been to more than one or two countries (if any) that are more than a few hundred miles away. Forget about all of that "information age" crap; just because the information is more easily accessible doesn't mean it's complete or accurate, and it's now easier than ever to hide or obfuscate the facts, particularly when no one seems willing to demand that the crap which the mass media churns out has any basis in reality. Trust me, what the Chinese are doing (and have done throughout their history as a people) wouldn't even raise eyebrows in many places outside of the U.S. and western Europe (and probably not even in some of the EU countries, for that matter). For that matter, too many of the regimes we've backed in some fashion (and still do) since the beginning of the Cold War haven't been known for being paragons of human rights, either. (Is that glass house of yours getting drafty yet?)
