Here is what the new Haystack Landing bridge looked like when it was located in Galveston TX on the BNSF. This bridge was originally built in 1985 and was replaced by a lift bridge recently.

The 175 ft height referenced earlier in this thread most likely refers to the height when the bridge is open.
