Visiting Niles Canyon Railway

I'm interested in looking at Niles Canyon Railway's (or is it GGRM's?) equipment collection, especially their diesels. Their web site was pretty clear on how to get a ticket to ride, but if the engines I want to see aren't running that particular Sunday, is it still possible to see them?
