The TMY-106 is a former Danish State Railway (Danske Statsbaner, or DSB) MY class, built by NOHAB, the old European licensee of EMD. It's basically an F-unit in a European-style carbody, with an honest-to-God 567 engine.
DSB owned this type of locomotive in the MX and MY classes, and similar NOHABs were built for Belgian State Railways (Class 52 and Class 54), Luxembourg (1600 Class), Norwegian State Railways (Di3 Class) and Hungarian State Railways (M61 Class).
Survivors of these locomotive classes are preserved in their countries of origin, and several, like the TMY-106, remain in service on small private railways and in industrial service. Several former Norwegian Di3s are also in service for the government railway in Kosovo.
In addition to this former NSB locomotive in GN colors, another one operated by the German company Eicholz Rail showed up in a variation of the Santa Fe Warbonnet.
