I think all the train crews on the UP should be trained in basic life support and
have all locomotives stalked with TRAUMA boxes and ambu-bags for respiratory assistance
and CPR certified. Engineer and Conductors would make more money for extra certifications
that can be CBA agreed. Oh and another thing, all UPRR trainmen should when on the
ground wear UP yellow helmets with red reflective strips and the UPRR shield on the
front. That would look good with the vest. (At Union Pacific, Safety is #1).
Somebody would make money on supplying the carriers with the stocked trauma boxes for
sure.
