If you want to see a couple of retired UP Rotary snow plows up close stop by the Hermiston OR railroad museum on a Satuday. They will take you through the cab to the bowels of both a steam driven or electric driven plows. 2 old UP retires run it and are there only on Sat but its a cool place for an hour. They have a power supply to run the electric one albeit at a slow speed. They are great guys with lots of cool stories.
