[www.mailtribune.com] I was there once in late August and once in late September, the latter time a guy for RailWorks, the contractor, told me that they would be working until December most likely, the ties would be finsihed by November, and the rail had been done for a while, but there were "a few rough spots" that needed to be addressed. A lot of new rail at the top, where htere had been chunks missing when it closed, but I saw some rough spots myself, problems with alignment etc.
