And things get even better… They say you never should look around in YouTube when you are in a hurry…

Starting with Komm doch mit zum Wochenende, I got suggested Fritz Stamer — Mach dir nichts draus with pictures of and with the legendary Gläserne Zug ("glass train", a fully panoramic EMU, operating between München and Innsbruck, over a very scenic route… the original car got destroyed in 1943, but the DB rebuilt it, and it was used for many very nice trips all over Germany, Austria and Switzerland).

And then there is Eugen Grossmann — Weekend (Foxtrot) with long distance buses operated by the Deutsche Reichsbahn. And what kind of vehicles… streamline design galore… well they had the Autobahnen, and they had to be used…
