#6 is one grade above Bunker C. It's easier to get #6 these days because modern refining technology leaves very little residue (Bunker C).

UP used #5 in both steam engine from 1987-2011, when the new genius manager tried to burn #2 in the 844 for a while, which led to deamage3d firebox side sheets. As predicted.
