Plus a trespass incident 35 min. earlier today which was not fatal.
The fatality is #20 this year for Caltrain.

SANTA CLARA (KRON) — Caltrain has confirmed a fatality at the Santa Clara Station Monday evening, Caltrain tweeted.
Caltrain tweeted about the incident just after 5:45 p.m.
All trains are holding in the area, Caltrain said.
No injuries to passengers have been reported.
First responders are on the scene, according to Caltrain.
Riders should expect delays. Northbound Caltrain No. 375 was involved in the pedestrian incident, Caltrain said.
There were about 175 people onboard the train, Caltrain said.
No other information was immediately available. This is the 20th Caltrain fatality of the year.
Earlier at around 5:10 p.m., Northbound train 371 was also involved in an incident.
This one happened at the San Antonio Station, Caltrain said.
A person walking on the tracks dropped a bag, which was struck by the train.
The person was uninjured, but trains stopped briefly to assess the situation.
That person was not hit, but his or her bag was hit, Caltrain said.
Police detained the person for trespassing on the tracks.
