In September at San Clemente State Park, I saw a case of attempted stupacide, when what appeared to be a thirty something Marine officer, in excellent shape, was jogging (stair stepping on every tie in perfect cadence), with his earbuds in, as the Surfliner, in a no "blow" zone, was "sneaking up" on him....... people waved and he veered off in time.

There's sure a lot of stupid out there all right, sometimes even where you wouldn't normally expect it......
