Well, you would have to figure staying 2 nights.
Day 1: Afternoon-evening train to Perris. Oops, OERM is closed for the night. Stay in a hotel.
Day 2: Visit OERM. Oops, no Metrolink trains from Perris after 9 AM. Stay in a hotel.
Day 3: Up early to take Metrolink train from Perris.
