The Glendale and Montrose (ultimately UP) served Glendale and Montrose via Glendale Avenue, not the Pacific Electric. The PE went up Brand Blvd in Glendale, and also turned over Glenoaks to Burbank. In the dim recesses of my mind, I recall someone telling me the Brand Blvd. terminus north of the turn-off to Glenoaks, was called North Glendale.

This sure looks like a PE car, although I must admit I've never seen any photos of Glendale and Montrose passenger equipment (the original G&M turned UP electric freight motor is at OERM after a long detour to Yakima). From the background proximity of the mountains, compared to anywhere along the route of the Glendale and Montrose, and what appears to be PE equipment, maybe this is near the top of Brand, in that "north" Glendale?
