I'm glad to see that Ted and Stash are sharp on their S.P. History. The rest of you are a little rusty. By the way, the SENATOR was Trains 223 and 224. THAT was the train I could have had a Cab Ride from Sacramento to Oakland--- in the afternoon-- just like the same day, in the morning, I could have ridden next to the Engineer on the "POCKET", Train 226,
using RDC SP-10. BUT, my grandfather wouldn't let me because my grandmother was along !
Never did figure out what the hell that had to do with it !! The year was around 1956.
