In a word, yes. While it may not have happened recently, the Utah has accepted unit coal trains from the BNSF at Grand Junction, CO, taken them to the CV Spur near Price, Utah. The trains were loaded there and taken back to Grand Junction. This operation included DP usage, always on the loaded trains and occasionally on the empty trains. I will need to check, but they also may have run some crude oil trains the same way. Check over on Trainorders.com over the past year.
