Elephants are herd animals. That is how they are supposed to live. They need to go. While most times PETA is goofy, they are right on the elephant issue. We've learned a lot about these animals recently, and Ringlings decision is the correct one. And Ringling isn't having a great financial time...the Gold Unit has been disbanded, and it is likely that by 2017, there will be only one circus troop traveling by train. It's easy to blame PETA, but the financials are really driving the BUSINESS decision.
