New track being laid on Nisqually Line / Tillicum, WA

Today heading South on I-5 South of Tacoma, Herzog had 3 ballast cars with power unit on the Nisqually Line near the Thorne Lane exit on I-5. This is in the City of Lakewood / Tillicum area. There was equipment laying out new concrete ties on the line so the track work has started!

There is lots of equipment along the line so this project is getting into full speed mode.

Sorry no pics, it was 4:30 PM and getting dark. Plus hard to take pics when you driving 60 MPH.
