The reason to care about the central valley farmers is that they're onto something. Regardless of how one feels about the concept of high speed rail in general, this outfit in Sacramento is giving it a bad name here in California. Consider the bait & switch financing plan, the political route, and the fact that CHSRA is violating what was promised in prop whatever-it-was. Good for the farmers for pointing this out.
