The Bay Point "subway" trackage is indeed still there, as mentioned, often underwater, and appears to be intact all the way north to the old ferry slip and east to the Pittsburg city limit. A Google Maps search shows a swinging gate still protects what was once a diamond with SN and a branch of ATSF that served an old PG&E plant. Going west from the subway, the SN is (more or less) intact all the way to the old Concord Naval Weapons Station at Port Chicago. IO think a small segment of it at McAvoy Road is used by UP to access what used to be Acme Steel, not sure what's there now.
