Charles Luna, is asked by a member if a train crew has to go to work short-handed (this was probably in the days of 5 or 6-man crews). Mr. Luna explains to the member his options, and also explains what the union will do to help the worker if he is fired.
Mr. Luna started his career as a switchman in Texas, and eventually became a founder and director of Amtrak for 20 years. An illustrious career.
