I noticed that Pullman Rail Journeys is promoting a charter to the Kentucky Derby and running domes on Key Holiday Reno trains but the website doesn't say anything about their Chicago- New Orleans service but the luxury train club website says


About the Train
Pullman Rail Journeys has informed us that they are no longer able to operate their cars on Amtrak’s City of New Orleans after January 6, 2016.
They anticipate a re-launch in the 2nd Quarter of 2016 with Chicago as the origin to a variety of destination events in different locations throughout the USA.
The rates and dates for the new services will be posted on this page as soon as possible.

Anyone know why they can't run on Amtrak? safety issue or not enough passengers?
