But you can see the old wye and where it went down the hill, in front of the prison and to Camp San Luis. Goldtree was only 1760 feet with a spur just beyond the west leg of the wye. It held about 4 cars??

When they put in CTC, it was during WWII and they had a lot of troop trains for Fort Ord, Camp Roberts, Camp San Luis and Camp Cooke (Tangair) now Vandenburg AFB.
