American Experience "FDR - - " on PBS, 2 hours

Recognizing that the local PBS affiliates will play, and replay, these reports when they choose,
may I offer a few comments on observing Part 2 of 2 this evening.

In addition to an excellent recap of US history thru the great depression and thru WW II, there are many railroad scenes filmed before the advent of color. Views from vestibules during the 30s and 40s. A Simonized GG-I. Trackside crowds from Washington to North of New York City.
Streetcar tracks, including the underground feed to the Washington DC streetcars.
