GP15s are notoriously slippery because of their fast loading and their tendency to over-load, resulting in the Wheel Slip relay dropping the load.

C&NW ordered their's extremely lightweight, at 243,000 pounds, so it's not surprising that those are slippery. (For comparison, the ex-MoP units UP uses weigh between 257,000 and 262 000 pounds.)
