It has been a year since SC&MB ran any trains from Watsonville up to Bonnie Doon Beach. If the RTC approves the proposal to increase the number of cars stored from 100 to 500, then the SC&MB will invest $100K to upgrade any track that is Excepted Class to Class 1. This will permit SC&MB to run unit trains of 30 plus cars from Watsonville to storage locations up by Davenport.
