Yep, they're out of session in Wyoming, having failed on this brain dead idea....of "banning" solar....to support coal. But, of course, that response was nonsense, since it didn't really respond to the factual assertion that the coal interests were, in fact, trying to ban solar....did it?

Why would we ever need or want to import coal? Given the range of coal types economically available for any special needs we might have, since we ain't on a little island. And, by the way, a lot of British coal was high sulfur crap, from small non-competitive mines. Thanks be to Margaret Thatcher for finally having the political guts to put a bullet in that long dead-19th century dying horse.

And, gas is just cheaper. The "evil gubmint" didn't set the price or invent fracking, the free market did, and in the current free market coal loses....for power production.

They do, however, still use coal on the steamies at Promontory Point
