Would be interested to hear if other RCL users have had any experience/s with the thing keeping throttle / load going despite an idle or stop command? Its been my experience / understanding the things are designed (and seem to achieve almost too well) fail-safe. It seems part of their reputation - their quite frequently defaulting to idle/stop - due comm losses - constitutes a big part of their productivity loss against engineer-conducted ops..
I guess I would think it would be a pretty BFD if a crew had one keep pulling or shoving during a stop command, sort of thing that would lead to big problems for a yard as well as the company.
