A longtime active member of the Bay Area Electric Railroad Association / Western Railway Museum, Chuck passed away July 14th! He had just gotten out of his car for a dialysis appointment in Sacramento and dropped dead of a heart attack. He’d been suffering from congestive heart failure for many years back.

He lived in San Francisco for many years, but moved to NAPA a year or so ago. He had retired from his very active role at the Rio Vista Archives department, sometime back, where he used to sell railroadiana to railfans from the large assortment of items that the Museum didn't need.

The large, towering individual was always a friendly sight at railfan groups including Winterail. May he rest in Peace !!
