I met Chuck decades ago when I went on a Great Western Tours trip as a hostess in 1975. Chuck was the host and steward of the vacation through Mexico (in Dick Reynolds private train cars hooked up to the back of the Mexican Railway trains). Chuck was so welcoming, friendly and always smiling. I looked him up many years later and we had lunch together. We reminisced about the amazing tour, the beautiful cars including sleeper, dining, lounge, etc , the unbeatable Mexican staff and the uniqueness of the whole experience. I will miss you Chuck. I meant to come out to the museum to show him my dads old train pictures but it never happened.
