More on the Millenium Tower vs. Transbay Terminal affair: [www.sfchronicle.com]

tl;dr: the building had already settled 10 inches when the TBT excavation started. But with everybody lawyering up, if anybody wants to bet against the TBT project (publicly funded; is there some HSR money in it?) not taking the hit for this I'm sure some bookie would give them very long odds.
