Granted. My qualification was: no real damage to piers & foundations. If the piers (only the tops visible in the photo due to shadows and angle) are steel piles and THEY are damaged, it'll take a while longer. In which case I'd expect some kind of shoofly within a couple of weeks followed by however long it takes to do the replacement - which still is likely to be much quicker than highway bridge replacement. Unless of course Mojave-Colton traffic is so light right now that there's no real pressure for quick repair given the detours available.
Hmmm. Perhaps this could be considered a practice run for restoring service after #BigQuake on the San Andreas?
