No. 99 & 75 used to come in on Trk 14. That way they could cut the power off and run around the train and back to the house. (That outside track was also used to interchange with the State Belt). There was not any crossing protection for 3rd St. except a flashing stop light so they had to get a switchmen or crossing guard to protect the move. With 3 units, one would be out in the street to get over the switch. Then later the goat would come in behind after everybody was off and drag the consist back and spot it on raised cleaning and repair tracks on the left looking out from the depot towards 4th St. Tower. During the day any bad orders would be be pulled and the afternoon shift would pull #76 out and shove it into the depot for that nights train. Same thing with 99 & 98s train. After the Lark was pulled off and the Daylight was down to a handful of cars, they just used a depot track and pulled them back like the commute trains. They still used the raised tracks to service the long haul passenger equipment.
The tunnel portal you can see just had a tail track in it so you could pull and switch the steel mill and not have to block the eastbound main. It held maybe 8 cars if that.
