exec vs maint salaries etc. ... as a matter of fact, the new broom at RT, after Wiley's retirement, gets a lower salary than Wiley did and even dumped a few of the upper-mid-level managers that have been in that system for a while. Flattened the boss structure a bit. Then hired more ticket checkers and maintenance people in an effort to actually collect fares (now nearly the highest in the country) and clean things to where people don't actively avoid riding for dirt & grime reasons.
