That that danged evil "gubmint" is lookin' the other way......?
While them poor little critters are somehow suffering an evil fate....
From that danged new fangled solar plant.......?
Yep, probably some folks somewhere will probably be bitc#ing and moaning about the poor little critters, even if none were hurt....? Maybe, because they heard it somewhere.....?
Sometimes it just makes me wonder how we were ever once able to do anything without the opinions derived from vague rumors or bizarre conspiracy theories (left or right...take your choice of crazy....)should somehow have equal weight to actual facts, or credible sources, in these matters? .
From the EIS, and actual dead tortoise counts (a lot of "road kill"....?), it would appear that the choo-choo's are among the least of the real risks that the tortoise's actually face, and among the least difficult to mitigate for....compared to say, the artillery and tank training at 29 Palms or Fort Irwin?
