But alas, LA Co. Sheriff's on Metro do exist....... They've always got a reasonably good level of "random" presence on-board, and seem to react very quickly with the roving patrol units, is my experience riding of Metro.

There has also been random and targeted undercover, at times. With targeted undercover aimed at things like vandalism. Santa Monica Bus has done this, kind of enforcement, too. And finally, you are being watched by all of those cameras, too. In this case, "Big Brother" really is watching, and trying to keep you reasonably safe.
