To add to what Trackwalker says...as per reports I've heard about the mill closure, the blocked salvage logging only represented maybe 6 months of timber supply to the mill. The question might be whether that much time would have given them room to find logs to stay open past that potential source or whether we'd be having this discussion next April when they had no more logs to run through the mill.
