Last call! Only a few seats remain on the Saturday's 'Fall Foliage' run of our signature Oregon Coast Crawler steam powered excursion. Journeying from Garibaldi, Oregon to Batterson, the Oregon Coast Crawler continues an ongoing tradition of arranging unique charter experiences using vintage train equipment on historic and scenic rail routes within the Pacific Northwest. Traveling on tracks that rarely see steam powered service, you will be treated to stunning coastal and canyon scenery- in the peak of fall splendor- in this very full day. As a special treat, this year an exclusive photo freight train will be operated in advance of your journey on both dates, offering a rare photographic opportunity prior to setting out for a day on the rails.

Our train will make its way northward and then inland on the Port of Tillamook Branch Line out of the picturesque fishing village of Garibaldi, passing beside Tillamook and Nehalem Bays and we'll make an extended stop in bayside Wheeler where you may enjoy a picnic lunch. We will then make a turn to begin following the Nehalem River with our day's destination to be Batterson. Our scenery will change dramatically as we travel through the rugged and not easily accessible Nehalem Canyon- and you'll be surrounded by the glory of the Pacific Northwest's fall foliage. On the return trip, another extended stop is made in picturesque Rockaway Beach, affording a chance for a glimpse of the Pacific Ocean and some time to stroll the streets to grab some locally made taffy or ice cream in this All-American beach town.

This special trip will be run using the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad's McCloud #25 locomotive, an engine featured in the movie 'Stand By Me' and offers a rare chance to enjoy the spectacular Oregon coast and Nehalem River canyon at a slow pace, perfect for enjoying the varied scenery of Oregon. Several stops will be made for the purposes of photography and our trainset includes an open-air car with outdoor seating. For the railfan and casual rider alike, the Oregon Coast Crawler is sure to please.

Space on this incredible experience is limited to only 120 riders and it is virtually guaranteed to sell out. Secure your spot today by phoning 800-717-0108 or using our online reservation system: [www.railsnw.com]
