Although not full scale,
The La Mesa Model Railroad Club in San Diego's Balboa Park is on some weekends running it's large Tehachipi Pass Layout under SP's TT&TO rules.
The members learned how to do it from actual SP operators and use a version of the SP rule book.
We have Railroaders that have operated real TT&TO tell us that we do it as they remember it. So it's about as close as you can get to that kind of operation now a days. The layout is big enough to allow the TO operators to be spaced out along the line.
This November 5th, 6th, and 7th is an Invitational TT&TO operation. But there are club weekends where it's two 12 Hour days covering 24hrs of operation and is open to anyone interested.
