Whew, what a thread.

In an interesting parallel, the movie I referenced above with the Mecca sign had a key scene about a white biker gang and poor Mexicans in Mecca. The gang, fueled by hatered, beats up the Mexicans on flimsy to non-existent evidence that the Mexicans stole from them. One Mexican responds, "we didn't steal nothin' from nobody." The confrontation leads to a chain of events that results in the most moral of the white bikers getting killed later by a cop. At the end of the movie, the lead of the biker gang has an epiphany and leaves the gang, and let's himself be arrested.

Moral: Don't jump to conclusions about a group of people. By acting on false assumptions and hatred of a group, you ultimately destroy yourself.
