Repairs are on-going on the Novato to Petaluma segment. The railorad embankment and leeve at the Marin-Sonoma Co. line is nearing completion. Other than the Schellville problems, this is the biggest hole in the railroad between Lombard and Fulton. This is the first segment to be open to traffic late this year. The break at San Antonio Creek was over 2000 ft. The subgrade and the ROW has been repaired and the track resorted minus the rotten and missing ties. The segements between Lombard and Schellville only needs ties and tamping and linning. Same for the Segment from Novato Creek Bridge north to Petaluma Creek Bridge. The last segment from the Bridge to Fulton needs ties, ballast and linning anmd shouldn't take long to do.
