Tom Steyer, his money, and the bullet train

Looks to me Tom Steyer, Mr. Anti Fossil Fuels, is providing money, indirectly, to democratic politicians in California and across the country. Now the word going around the Valley is him pressuring moderate democrates, those not keen on Brown's bullet train vision, to get with the program. This could be because he is looking into the possibility of running for Governor in 2018 and is already trying to line up his political cronies.

I keep hearing he is no fan of the freight railroads and doesn't like the trucking industry.
