Strapac's Southern Pacific Diesel Locomotive Compendium Volume 1 says that SP 6203 was retired 2/29/68 and sold to GE on 3/6/68. That being said, looking at some of the Southern Pacific Company Diesel Unit Data booklets, dated 3/1/68 & 5/1/69 in this case, they clearly show SP 6203 as still being on the roster in both. Clear as mud...
