I couldn't find the cost of those units.
Nice to see Sound Transit take care of the assets that we, the taxpayers paid for.
I wonder if there really was security on duty? If so, where were they? If they were on duty, they should be fired!
I'm going to follow up w/Sound Transit on this and see what it costs them to clean the tagging from this train. I bet it's going to be a few thousand dollars, but hey, just a drop in the bucket to Sound Transit. We can afford it and the 24/7 security too that isn't there.
When I came South at 1:30 am on Sunday morning, the trainset still parked in the same spot and no lighting at all, you could barely see it in the dark. The vandals had plenty of time to do what they did. Security? yeah, right.
