No, the Union Pacific depot was always adjacent (just west) of the NP depot, as the UP had the original line into Butte (Utah Northern). The Milwaukee shared its original depot (now the KXLF studio) with the BA&P (the original BA&P depot (now torn down) was up towards the GN Depot up on the hill. The new Milwaukee depot is now used by some sort of fire/ambulance agency (straight down Montana and under the Interstate.
The UP facilities were wood and gone now, I belive. Up into the 90's all the depots were still extant. The NP station has undergone restoration and is some sort of conference/reception hall now (other offices in the Baggage and REA wings of the building).
Even now, Butte is a veritable treasure trove to look around at, for railroads and general industrial archeology.
