Port of Coos Bay file "Feeder Line Application"

The International Port of Coos Bay has filed with the Surface Transportation Board a Feeder Line Application to force the sale of the Coos Bay Branch Line.
The 152 page application filed late Friday afternoon outlines the complete story of how the Port could purchase the line from CORP/RailAmerica for a Net Liquidated Value of $9,811,100.
In the application the Port would use a $12.5 million dollar line of credit to finance the purchase.
The STB will analyze the Port’s application and CORP’s response to the filing and then set the final purchase price of the line.
